Click here (Help Screen) to view graphic examples of the tips in this topic.
How To Use HELP
- OSA Help can be viewed without logging in.
- The Online Selection & Acquisitions Help is opened by clicking the Help Desk button found on the button toolbar located at
the top-center of the OSA screen. View the Button Toolbar.
- The Online Selection & Acquisitions (OSA) Help opens in a separate, down-sized window, to allow you to view the Help information, without obscuring the entire OSA screen.
- The Help screen can be expanded to full-screen by clicking the Maximize button in the upper-right corner of the Help screen, or to a custom size by placing the pointer on a corner or edge of the window. The pointer will become a double-ended arrow. Hold the left mouse button down
and drag the borders to the desired window size.
- You can also position the Help window by clicking the blue title bar at the top, holding the left mouse button down, and dragging the window to the desired position.
- Help categories are listed in the left frame. Click a category name to view the list of related Help topics. Click a Topic title
to view the contents of the topic in the right frame. The category name of the Help topic being viewed will be highlighted in the left frame.
- Graphic examples used in the Help topics are accessed by clicking the underlined (Figure xx, or subject related name) links found in the Help topic text.
- Below each graphic display there is a GO BACK link to return you to the Help topic you were viewing.
- If you have navigated several screens beyond the topic you were originally working with, you can return directly to the topic by
clicking the link to that topic on the menu in the left frame.
- Longer topics will have a list, at the beginning, of the subjects contained in the topic. Click one of the underlined subjects to go directly to that subject.
- At the bottom of each topic, and inserted throughout lengthier topics, are BACK TO TOP links that return you to the top of the topic.
