My Info

Online Selection & Acquisitions provides the user the ability to pre-configure Database Search Preferences, and Distribution Profiles.

Help is available for these topics by clicking the Help Desk button located on the button toolbar seen at the top-center of the browser window immediately above the OSA function toolbar. Then click the My Info link at the bottom of the Help navigation toolbar on the left.

These options are managed from the My Info link, found on the OSA function toolbar located immediately below the button toolbar on the Online Selection & Acquisitions screen. ( Figure 60 )

Working with My Info Information:

  1. Logon to Online Selection & Acquisitions (OSA).
  2. Click the My Info link and the Online Selection & Acquisitions Personal Information screen will appear ( Figure 66 ).

    • Personal Information: On this form modify or add the requested information, including Personal Information, User Name / Password settings, Selection List viewing sort options, and Invoicing / Receiving Search default settings.
    • My Database Preferences: Click this link to make changes to the list of databases you wish to search, the sequence of the databases to be searched, and to set a default vendor for each database listed.
    • My Distribution Profiles: Click this link to add a new profile, or to edit your existing distribution profiles.

    If you navigate to either of the links at the top of the My Info page, you will need to click the My Info link on at the top of the screen to return to the My Info Personal Information screen.

    Click the appropriate link on the Help navigation bar to the left to view instructions on working with Database Preferences or Distribution Profiles.

    Note: In Figure 66, the third section from the bottom asking for your Cataloging User Name and Password will only display for users with PAC permissions set.

  3. Make any necessary changes to the Personal Information. Click the Submit button when all settings are as desired. You will be returned to the Online Selection & Acquisitions Home Page.
